UDIA Leadership Series - Powerful Placemaking

What makes Powerful Placemaking and how does it contribute to economic and social benefits
for developers?

Join us at the Annual UDIA Leadership Series - Powerful Placemaking presented by the UDIA Women in Property Committee.

Guets speaker Cate Boughton, Partner and Group Director - Hoyne, will discuss the commercial argument for effective placemaking, looking at how developers and investors can earn greater profits while also contributing to better-performing economies and happier, healthier communities.

Following the keynote will be a moderated panel discussion by Lora Armstrong, Sales & Marketing Manager - Woodlea, with panellists Morgan Koegel, General Manager - 3000 Acres, and Nisha Rawal, Director - Urbis.

Don't miss this opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain invaluable insight from industry leaders!

Keynote Presenter

Cate Boughton is Partner and Group Director of Place Visioning™, property branding and marketing agency Hoyne. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Cate’s knowledge of the property market is substantial. She regularly works with major international asset owners, developers and local councils to create recognisable landmarks and destinations; from residential towers and master planned communities to commercial developments, new mixed-use precincts, and even cities.

Morgan Koegel is the General Manager of 3000acres, a Melbourne based not-for-profit on a mission to help more people, grow more food, in more places. 3000acres works with councils, statutory bodies and communities to build healthier and more resilient communities by bringing people together around food. She has previously served as the CEO of both One Girl and Engage Education Foundation, but her passion for a fair food system and sustainability brought her to 3000acres.

Nisha Rawal is a valuer and property economist with almost 15 years’ experience living and working in Brisbane, Sydney and now Melbourne. She has a focus on retail, commercial and mixed-use development with experience in site optimisation, network strategies and highest and best use analysis. At Urbis, Nisha provides strategic and solution-orientated advice to achieve the best outcome out of a range of assets and developments.
