The Revitalising Central Dandenong (RCD) urban renewal project was announced by the Victorian Government in 2006 with the aim of rejuvenating Dandenong’s city centre over a 20 year period.

The $290 million project is being delivered by Development Victoria in partnership with the City of Greater Dandenong to re-establish Dandenong as the capital of Melbourne’s south east region.

Having reached its half-way milestone, Revitalising Central Dandenong has already attracted more than $500 million in private sector investment, with 40 per cent of the land developed, under construction or committed for development.  Projects delivered to date have attracted substantial investment from leading developers including Grocon, Pellicano and EPC Pacific/Cromwell.

Join us to explore the learnings from the Revitalising Central Dandenong initiative and what is involved in the regeneration of the centre, as well as discussing future partnership opportunities with Development Victoria and the City of Greater Dandenong.

Development Victoria is a new organisation created to deliver projects of state significance that generate value out of the Victorian Government’s extensive land holdings.

Guest speakers:
  • Gabrielle Williams, MP – State Member for Dandenong (Welcome address to guests)
  • Nando Pellicano | Managing Director | Pellicano Group
  • John Bennie | Chief Executive Officer | Greater Dandenong City Council
  • Simon Wilson | General Manager | Development Victoria
