Newport Women’s Housing is a residential development featuring 20 modern apartments, designed and built for Women’s Housing Limited. 

A collaboration between Buildcorp Commercial (Builder), ClarkeHopkinsClarke (Architect), Urbanxchange (Project Manager), Reddo Building Surveyors (Building Surveyor) and John Patrick & Associates (Landscape), the project achieves good quality, affordable and safe housing for at-risk women-led households. 
 

High Density Development - under 10 storey's
181 Fitzroy St

The Pace Development, 181 Fitzroy St project was completed in January 2017. It was designed by SJB Architects, with interiors by Carr Interiors. The construction and development team at Pace handled the entire process. 

181 looks directly over Albert Park towards the city and is a positive addition to historic Fitzroy Street thanks to the activation through retail tenancies and building design.

Banksia, NewQuay

Designed by architects McBride Charles Ryan (MCR) and built by Hickory Group, Banksia is a powerful feature of the NewQuay skyline with a facade that takes inspiration from the building’s namesake - the Banksia seed pod. 

MAB wanted to celebrate the waterfront location with a design that would become an architectural landmark.

Whilst modern in its design, the development is still very much part of its neighbourhood reflecting the local grain and scale of this historic precinct. The scheme draws on the character of its context to influence the built form, transforming the typically low-scale residential language of the area into a modern interpretation of multi-residential living.

But before the first home was built, the developer faced significant challenges. The 125-hectare site was bordered by the Princes Freeway, a major gas and oil easement and an already established residential community.

Maddocks eContracts is an online document platform which greatly speeds up and streamlines the processing of sales documents in new developments. Developed by Maddocks in conjunction with Woodlea, the process removes paper, and improves flexibility without having to burden buyers, and sales staff with voluminous paper documentation.
