Membership of the Institute is limited to land developers, home developers and builders, students and companies providing finance for the development of land and building of houses and their representatives, town planners, surveyors, engineers, real estate agents and other persons interested in urban development.
As part of an Australia wide professional body, vitally concerned with all aspects of land use and various facets of urban planning and development members are able to take advantage of the full range of services offered by the Institute. These include the benefits of participation in the work of the various sub-committees as appropriate.
Membership can also offer opportunities for using the national channels, contacts and experience of the Institute and the expertise of its members in the presentation of submissions and liaison with various government authorities.
Pro Rata Fees
All membership fees are based on a calendar year. Applicants who wish to join the UDIA throughout the year will be entitled to a Pro Rata Fee Rate as outlined below:
| Jan - March | 100% of Full Membership Fee |
| April - June | 80% of Full Membership Fee |
| July - Sept | 60% of Full Membership Fee |
| Oct - Dec | 12 months membership applies |
Renewal Fee Policy
Annual subscription renewals not received within 60 days of date of invoice will incur a penalty charge of 1% of annual fee for every month over due.
