UDIA Victoria is supported by committees volunteering their time to contribute issues, information and ideas relevant to our industry.
Some of the committees involved in the development of advocacy, information, communication, networking and professional development are
Advocacy/Information/Communication/Professional Development
Infrastructure
The Infrastructure Committee considers issues relating to technical or infrastructure matters on behalf of the members of the UDIA (VIC). The Committee would meet on an as needs basis to consider relevant issues as presented.
Planning
The Planning Committee considers issues relating to strategic and statutory land use planning on behalf of the embers of UDIA (VIC). The Committee meets monthly (or at any other agreed time) to consider relevant issues as presented.
Sustainability
The Sustainability Committee considers issues relating to sustainability (social, economic and environmental) on behalf of the members of the UDIA (VIC). The Committee meets monthly (or at any other agreed time) to consider relevant issues as presented.
Tax
The Tax Committee considers issues relating to taxes on behalf of the members of the UDIA (VIC). The Committee would meet on an as needs basis to consider relevant issues as presented.
Networking/Information/Communication/Professional Development
Geelong Committee
State Conference
State Conference Committee provides input on topics, speakers, locations and activities for the annual state conference held in October of each year. The committee meets regularly from May through to September.
Outlook@udiavic
The Outlook@udiavic committee consists of young, motivated and enthusiastic professionals within the urban development industry. The Committee provides input on planning for events which aim to encourage networking among young professionals in the industry, increase their involvement within UDIA (Vic) and further enhance their knowledge of industry related issues. The Committee meets monthly (or at any other agreed time) to plan events and discuss issues as presented.
Women In Property
The WIP Committee consists of motivated and enthusiastic female professionals within the urban development industry. The Committee provides input on planning for events which provide access to professional and personal development information and that also aim to encourage the attendance and networking of women at UDIA (Vic) events. The Committee meets monthly (or at any other agreed time) to plan events and discuss issues as presented.
Education, Information and Communication (EIC)
The EIC Committee considers topical, relevant and timely issues to plan educational forums held quarterly for UDIA (VIC) members to gain information on industry issues as well as providing an opportunity for members to network. The Committee also provides input on the planning and development of the UDIA (Vic) professional development courses. to plan events and discuss issues as presented.
